1. Introduction
Welcome to HousMthr (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and Privacy Policy govern your use of:

Mobile App: “HousMthr,” available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store – offering AI-powered group travel management, communication, and safety tools.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use HousMthr. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscriptions & Payments
A. Pricing
$12.99 per year (standard user subscription).
Payments are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe.
B. Renewals
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled 24 hours before the next billing date.
C. Cancellations & Refunds
You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple, Google, or Stripe settings.
Refunds are provided only where required by law.
5. Communications & SMS Consent
A. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your phone number or opting in through our Website or App, you consent to receive:
Trip updates and reminders
Group coordination messages
Safety alerts and emergency notifications
Promotional or informational messages related to your use of HousMthr
These messages may be sent via Twilio-powered SMS or similar messaging services.
Message frequency varies based on trip activity and user settings.
Message and data rates may apply.
B. Opt-In Examples
In-App: “By continuing, you agree to receive important trip updates and safety alerts via text message.”
Web Signup: Checkbox labeled “I agree to receive SMS updates from HousMthr.”
Keyword: Text “JOIN” to our toll-free number to subscribe.
C. Opt-Out and Revocation of Consent
You can stop receiving messages at any time by:
Replying STOP to any SMS message;
Updating communication preferences in-app under Settings → Notifications; or
Emailing [email protected] with your registered phone number.
Once you opt out, we will confirm your removal via text and cease all further communication except legally required notices.

Step 3 — How to Opt Out
You may stop receiving texts at any time through any of the following methods:

Open the HousMthr App
Go to Settings → Notifications → SMS Preferences
Toggle “Receive Text Messages” to Off

This information is encrypted and stored in Google Firebase per HousMthr’s Privacy Policy.
